Introducing Cheeky Carlyle Swimwear

Kayla Carlyle launched Cheeky Carlyle Swim in January 2016, a dream that for her, had been a long time coming.

“I always wanted to have my own business where I could create, lead and inspire others through my good work ethic and good business practices,” Kayla says. “We offer ethically made, high-quality suits that fit more than just a singular body type.”

Kayla found that she was having trouble finding high-end, designer suits that fit the way she’d like. She assumed other girls were facing the same issue and through Cheeky Carlyle set out to solve the problem. All of her tops are seamless and adjustable, offering a flattering fit to a wide array of body types.

Aside from simply offering cute and flattering suits, Kayla wanted to design ethically made sustainable swimwear that held up in all conditions. After some searching, Kayla discovered a fabric that perfectly matched her needs.

“We use Italian Carvico/VITA Lyrca- this sustainable techno-fabric made with Econyl is 100% regenerated polyamide fiber from post-consumer materials,” Kayla says. “When tested, it proved 2x more resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils than competitor fabrics.”

The sustainable fabric has proven to be a great material for both fashion and competition suits, is indeed resistant to chlorine and sun creams, maintains its shape, is ultra-soft, and even provides UV protection. Cheeky Carlyle offers multiple styles, making it easy to find a suit that is ideal for your needs. All of the tops and many of the bottoms are adjustable, meaning you can wear them loose or synch them up tight in more trying conditions. Each suit is also reversible, offering two fun prints for you to mix and match.

In addition to using sustainable fabric, Cheeky Carlyle uses recycled packaging and packs their suits in muslin, as opposed to plastic swimsuit bags. The company also donates 1% For the Planet as well as locally to saveourbeach.org. While the young brand already does a lot for the environment, they are constantly striving to do more to continuously raise awareness and reduce their impact on our precious planet.
